Pontevedra Barrio High School was first organized in the year 1969 together with the first group of Barrio high schools authorized to be opened by the Superintendent of schools-the late Noe B. Villareal, Mrs. Corona C. Bereber, then principal of Pontevedra Elem. School, was the 1st assistant principal Mr. Roldan, principal of Capiz Nat’l High School was the principal of all Barrio High schools.
